Hi there, I wonder if any of you could help me, Im having some trouble with video playback, the playback looks to be high contrast and Pixelated, I would of posted an example for you, but strangely when I take a screenshot of the problem, the screenshot shows up fine.

I can get the playback to work as it should on windows media by disabling the use overlays option and enabling use high quality mode, but this only affects Windows media player, for example if I was to view a piece of FMV in a game that would also be pixelated and high contrast.

Any help would be great, this is driving me mad.

Daniel

You wouldnt happen to have an nvidia card and just installed the latest drivers would you? because they caused video playback to go fubar just as you described, just downgrade to a previous driver version and everything is fine again.
