problem with USB printer in Windows ME.

Hello,
I installed a new USB printer in Windows Me and could not find a USB printer port. I installed the driver that came with the printer and still did not find a port.
The USB controller is enabled in the device manager.
What am i doing wrong.

Is your printer listed under "other" or "unknown devices" in device manager? if it is, highlight it and click "remove"...confirm delete...then hit "refresh". It should find new hardware and install it where it belongs.

The printer just could not find any available port.
