Hi all:

I need to reinstall XP, but don't have a PS/2 keyboard that is required on the motherboard that I have. Someone set the bios to boot from the hd instead of the CD drive. I am attempting to take off SP2 to get around the XP install error that says that the current version of XP is newer than what is on the install disk. I have tried these steps but I can not locate the spuninst.exe file after I removed SP3. Any ideas?

Hate to say this, but I think you're approaching everything wrong:

1. Easier to buy a cheap PS/2 keyboard. Less than $10.
2. Change boot order in BIOS
3. Slipstream the CD to XP SP3 using NLITE and proceed.
