We have a Vodavi Infinite 8003 with 4 incoming lines and 10 extensions.

We are having a problem with two particular extensions.

One cannot see two of the four outside lines and the other cannot see any of the outside lines.

Both work fine otherwise.

We moved offices recently and documented everything. The phone system and all the wiring/punchdown blocks were attached to a backboard so we simply moved the whole backboard and hooked up the 4 new lines and 10 extensions.

The main system has a DTIB 12 card, a SLIB, an LCOB an MSIB and an MPBI.

The incoming lines go into the LCOB card in the bottom two jacks (2 lines in each).

The voicemail system is hooked up to the SLIB card with the top two jacks (out of three).

The only thing that could have got shuffled is the two jacks going into the LCOB and the two going into the SLIB. Note that I do not mean that incoming lines are going into the SLIB. I mean that the location of the jacks on the SLIB may be wrong and ditto for the LCOB.

Any ideas.

Thanks

Try dialing 88+0XX for the line you are curious about and see what happens. (88004 for line 4) It could be restricted or buttons are not programmed. If the lines appear on all other phones and not on these 2 then it's probably just button programming. If this is the case then the button mapping will need to be corrected in flash 50, page b, button 11. You can also check the buttons in f 50, pg b, btn 14.
