I have a route with trunks assigned as CO trunks but they get blocked intermittently.When i acknowledge alarms, the trunks get unblocked. I have included the Route parameters and the alarm log below. What can be done to rectify this?
Please help me out.

Change those values

VARC=00000112,VARI=00000448,VARO=00000815;

may be it will help;

Thanks VMPOP, i will try that and get back .

The voltage on the line is 75V...seems to be too high..can this be a problem?

Hi,

You have to keep your VARC=00000002 since your trunk board is TLU11 not TLU75.
75V is too high and the MD110 may consider it as >RINGREC> signal, and it must be reduced.

Voltage is now okay but problem persists, noticed that the earth cable to the MD110 was disconnected.

Can this be a problem?

What happen if you tried to get the access code?
Are the trunks blocked? print SUSIP:ROU=9,TRU=ALL;

The earth is a must, but sometimes it may work if the voltage difference between the PSTN and the MD is low.

One thing you can try to make sure it is not an earth problem, connect an analogue extension into one of the trunks (Loopback) and try to access it.

Thanks Niux,
The trunks are blocked with blocking variable B4.

Have you tried connecting an analogue extension into one of the trunk lines?

Thanks a lot. It was discovered that the earthing on the power cable to the PBX was failing. The power cable has been changed and everything is working now.

Thanks for your help.
