Hi all,
I have a problem with Excel 2007 ... it's been a while since I asked a question here ... I'm usually answering ( so, no, I'm not a beginner ).
If I open a file as read-only, and make a change, and then press the Toggle Read Only button ( in QAT from Category "Commands Not In The Ribbon" ), I get the message:
File Changed
You have made changes to 'my_filename.xlsx'.
Another user has also made changes. What would you like to do?
Click Discard to discard your changes and edit the latest version.
Click Save as to save your changes to a different file and open the latest version.
( with buttons = "Discard" "Save as" "Cancel" )
This is an erroneous message, and this does not happen with this button in Excel 2002/2003. Is there some setting I have to set to get this button working correctly, maybe in the Registry?
I have Excel version number 12.0.6550.5000
Cheers, Glenn.
