Rodap

varc 00000008, vari 00000006, varo 00000455

CAS, MFC, DR2

thanks

hi
more info
where is the problem?
You can't connect from MD to Panasonic or from Panasonic to MD?

and send RODDP:dest=(to panasonic)

Jonhf !
The settings in the panasonic is important to .
E.g what one side excepts from the other like
pts ,seizure , tone , mfc signalling type , etc .

We often have to break down the var parameters and
cross check features/values with other side in theese kind of trunks.

Or perhaps you rfpui is an expert on panasonic also ,so you can circle your magic wand and propose a solution
for both sides . [2thumbsup]

Thanks RFPUI, and SYAR2003 for being so helpful.

The problems we thank is the same in both equipments MD and TD500.

The information requested is as follows:
MD110
Dest: 7810, Trc: 0, Srt: 0, NumAck: 0, Adc: 0005000000000250.

In the TD500:
Trunk DR2, with MFC signalling.

The problem as we perceived is that when we try to get the trunk on any side we can hear the dial tone but when we dial any number we only receive white noise.

Are you sure that you don’t have alarm 303 Data link alarm in AL log?

For RFPUI

Yes, I don´t have any alarm

Is that TLP30 u're using .
Btw the dest i suppose the srt=1 not zero .

From what i see you have

MFC Code type to Ericson code.(VARC D8=8)perhaps use standard type CCITT code - D8=0

Incoming digits MFC (not tone/DTMF)

Outgoing digits Tone/DTMF .

Are you sure this is the right setting.
Only purpose i would have incoming to MFC is to show a-number .But then it would have to be requested i think .

hi
Why D8=8 in VARC?
From alex
D8 is MFC type signaling

from 0 to 7 is CCITT Code
And from 8 to F Ericsson –code

In my opinion D8 should be set to 0

Seems to be that you don't have MSU/MRU/MFU boards inserted (for MFC).

Well he could set DTMF in both directions ,
and have the line code to CCITT standard .

What do you think RestartUnit ...[wink]

Hi

Yes I Have MFU inserted and change de VARC (D8=0) in other test but dosen´t happen,

I don´t know it is possible to change for E&M

Hi jonhf
Have you any documentation to MD program TLP30? Such as Alex or Dynatext?
Because you must try more combination of VARI & VARO.
Now I find another fault or mistake
VARO D8=5 it is tone digits transmission to interworking exchange
If you send printout from MD use copy and paste function. It is better For example your SIG is only 10 digits and should by 12

Thanks RFPUI, and SYAR2003 for being so helpful.

Up today the problem is solved and the fault was in the Panasonic, the problem was in the MFC signalling in the Panasonic side.

PS

I don´t have the Alex or Dynatext softwares, there is any possibility that you can bring me that information, or please tell me were I can get it. I live in Mexico. Best Regards. John F.
