Hello!
I've installed a tcp_wrapper ( freeware ) in my SUN station.
I've compiled the source code, it's all rigth.
Daemons run but don´t work fine.
In my logs I can see that the IP address it´s not rigth:
0.0.0.0 for all.
Anybody can help me?
Thanks .
Sussana
I don't know this is good or bad,
but please see /etc/inet/inetd.conf.

Solaris8 has additional entry that specify "tcp" or "tcp6" concerning IPv6.

Try change line like this.
telnet stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.telnetd

And I heard somewhere in Sun there is tcp_wrapper for Solaris8.
