Problem with subform

I'm trying to build a master and child link between two forms. When I try to change the property I get a message that says. "Can't build a link between unbound forms."

One of your forms is unbound?.... which makes sense.... if you're using an unbound form... you will have to build an SQL Where clause to throw as the filter on the second form....
