Hi - I can't seem to find anything useful on the web with regards to issue upgrading to SMS 2003 SP2 from SP1.

We've ~65 secondary sites. Last night I triggered the upgrade from SP1 to SP2 (central and parents already at SP2) and let it do its thing. This morning I've come in and see 2/3 completion rate. The remaining (or those I've checked so far) seem to be caught mid-flight. I see the sms_bootstrap.pkg copied to the servers and a process running, but no other activity.

Here's what the sms_bootstrap.log has to say:

My first observation is that the PKG file referenced as not existing at F:\ was actually copied to the SMS_SITE share by SMS...which is not pointing to the root of F:\. For those sites that worked, I'm assuming SMS did copy to F:\ (we have a mostly identical configuration for this line of servers).

Now that 20 secondary site servers are in this state, how can this be resolved without uninstalling and reinstalling all sites? They're really in limbo at this time. If there any way to unpack the PKG file and create the SMSSETUP folder it's looking for?

Thanks!
