Well I try to configure reading some configurations notes in the internet (There are a lot!!!) I can send e-mails from and to my local accounts with the alias, I can do this with a Edura Light POP3 client too. But it only work if I put in the field To: root or other alias, but if I try to put root@mydomain.com, it never work. I have the same problem if I try to send or receive e-mail from internet. dnl #DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl
by having this commentted out it wont work also 127.0.0.1 needs to be you servers ip
then you need to run this command to recreate the config
make -C /etc/mail
then you will want to restart sendmail
if this is not your ip then you will not beable to receive emails from outside of your machine

/etc/sysconfig/network
make sure your servers machine name is correct in this file
HOSTNAME=youserversname.com

is this server also running your dns server

%, 2004

then named.conf is for redirecting to you domain files not to put the actual information in
usually the information is stored in /var/named/yourdomainname

you will also want to use the actually ip instead of localhost

%, 2004
