I've been able to add tasks to Windows Task Scheduler with NetSchedulerJobAdd(). But every time it runs, i get an error: "Invalid Authorization Specification". Under the properties of the scheduled task, the "Run As:" property is filled in as "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". Could this be the problem? If so, is there a way to change it to some sort of administrative status?

My apologies. I looked it up and of course Microsoft's doc tries to get you to think that it's a .Net function. What it actually does is say that "this page is specific to .Net 2.0" rather than "this function is specific to .Net 2.0", and leaves you to form your own erroneous conclusions. Blast Microsoft for their sins of omission.

Ok, I'm done ranting. Sorry, I don't know much about this, but here's another thread you might not have seen: thread713-356060

Half of the API stuff there says .Net 3.0 there now too.

It's all part of the subliminal advertising.

Yes, it is evil, misleading and a con. I don't like the new MSDN pages that much ...
