Problem with Sample Database Measures...

Hi All,

I am new to Reportnet and i installed the software as well as the Sample database.

When i am trying to create a report using query studio, I am getting errors when inserting a 'MEASURE'..in to the report..I am getting the following error...


An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2006-04-26-15:34:32.990-#6
Details:
"RSV-SRV-0021 The server cannot find a primary request with ID MlsC489wjsMGlG9vsj929GG29l8j8yl48wMsGsls "

Pls help me what could be the problem....This error i am getting when i am inserting any of the measure.

And where can i see the complete error description..

open file called crnserver.log file located in cognos/crn/logs. just do a search for crnserver.log in your cognos directory if you can't find it with the path i said

copy and paste 2006-04-26-15:34:32.990-#6. when you get a garbage error message that says logged with secureid, the error is written up in much more detail in the crnserverlog file.

since you say you are new to cognos products.. do you know what a measure is? it has to be a numeric value.. such as revenue or quantity in the samples.
