I am trying to install Safenet SoftRemoteLT Version 10 software on a computer. I can isntall the software fine, but during the installation, it turns of Microsft IPSEC Services. Looking at the Logviewer for SoftRemoteLT, it appears that it needs this service turned on to establish a secure connection. I tried to start the Microsoft IPSEC Service manually, but it fails everytime as long as the Safenet SoftRemoteLT software is installed. Once I remove this software, I can turn the Microsft IPSEC service on. I am not familiar with this VPN client. I am used to using Nortel VPN client. I have tried this on Windows 2000 and Widows XP computers with similar results. Does someone out there use the SoftRemoteLT software, and can give me an idea of what I am doing wrong?
