I have FoxPro 2.6 Developer for DOS with the distribution kit. I just got a new (faster) PC and now can't open FoxPro. The error says "Use of transgressed handle."

Is there a fix for this? How do I go about getting it?

1. Upgrade to FoxPro 2.6a if you have not done so already.
Many of these type of problems are relatively very very few and far apart nowadays.
2. DO a scandisk/defrag in your system.
3. If you have set in the BIOS, best performance setting, reset it to OPTIMUM performance setting. Sometimes, the hardware is the reason for such errors.
4. If the PC is faster, some times, any SYS(3) functions throw errors by generating not unique numbers. The solution for this is available and if specifically asked.. I will post the answer for this.
Hope you get the solution. :) ramani :-9
