I own a gaming website, and I am making an upgrade for it in Fireworks MX. In 800x600, there is a horizantal scroll bar, and in higher resolutions, it seems too small for the page. Can someone please tell me how to fix the problem? The site is at and does have some spelling errors, so please don't bombard me with replies about those. All I need to know is how to make it the smae width no matter what resolution viewers use. Please note that the links do not go anywhere, as this is the preliminary test of the graphics and such. Please remember that currecntly, I only need help with the resolutions, so as I said before, please don't bombard me with replies about anything else at this time.

Ok.

*00 x 600 doesn't mean that's how much usable space you have. For starters, you ahve not removed the margins on your page which take up room. DO you use dreamweaver? You can set them to in page properties. End result is this

<BODY bgColor=#ffffff leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"

Vertical scroll bar takes up room too. I think it 10 pxls in ie and 20 in ns. Best to set your aimges to a maxium width of 772 for 800 x 600 res.

The way I would build this site would be to:-

(1) have a javascript that loads a different header image depending on resolution. Make on for each relevant resolution(see this site
(2) Don't have the text on the right as an iamge. Have it as normal html text, and put it in a table with % width so it will expand up and down depending on the screen width.

Good Luck
