Problem with Repository - Insight Mgr 7

I have Compaq Insight Manager 7, SP 1 installed. I set up a version control repository, with the MDSE database.

When I go to the Task list to update software, it finds the repository on the server but reports "No components exist in this repository". I thought I had downloaded them when I went to "Legacy Version Control" and downloaded from the web.

Is there something else I need to do to add components to the repository? Thanks!

Do you have ActiveUpdate loaded and configured to update the repository?

Turns out the "Legacy Version Control" was something else entirely. I had to do another download to populated the "repository".

mirty12, can you tell me what the Legacy Version Control is really for because I can't seem to find any use for it?
