Customer has a Call Manager 2.2 at one site, and has 3 phones at another site.

Has multiple problems:

1. When a call comes into the office, (rings at both locations)The extensions at the remote site hears the ring, when they answer the call, the extension rings a second time before they can converse with the caller. When they answer the call, they can hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear them until the second ring finishes.

Any ideas???

2. When the customer at the remote location has a call, the display will show the soft keys on the display for "hold, transfer". After 5 seconds, these keys disappear, and goes back to showing the buttons of "call forward, etc..."

Any ideas on how to fix this????

Thanks in advance.

The version on the system was 2.2

Is there anything anyone can tell me to solve these issues?

Thanks for the help

This sounds like a call control issue. The reason can be not enough bandwidth or QoS. It can also be a software bug or a firmware bug on the phone itself.
is this call manager or call manager express?

It is a call manager express.

I fixed the problem with the ringing twice, and the not able to transfer issue.
It was an extension did not have the hunt group button on the phone. when I put the button on the extension, the problem went away.

I have another issue thou:

Where do i put the new MOH file on the system?

Also, how do I change the wav files for the specific greeting in the Auto Attendant?

How do i upload a new greeting for the Que greeting?

Thanks for the help in advance

MOH file goes on the flash card of the CME router. For uploading prompts, use the prompt access number for the CUE module.
BTW I hope your remote site is actually ethernet connected. Cisco doesn't support remote sites across a WAN for CME.

The remote site is ethernet connected.

Thanks for the info

How would I load the MOH onto the flash memory in the router?

OK, but i do not know how to do it on the call manager?
Can anyone help?

Once you TFTP the file to the Flash, go under telephony-service and add it with the command

moh filename

The file must be in the format specified for CME. MOH must be 8khz 8-bit mono u-Law audio in WAV or AU format
