I have five remote users, all of which use the same laptops and have the same OS/sp's installed. They logon onto system through VPN and then run a logon script to map the needed drives (all use the same script to map the drives).

Suddenly one user reports that she cannot see any mapped drives even though the script appears to have run fine - The script shows which drives are being mapped (displayed on popup html page), the last thing the script does is to synch' the time of the laptops with the server to which they are connecting too. She says she can see all this, popup html + dos window stating net time etc, but can see no drives. The connection is established as email retrieval & sql synch can still take place.

I'm stumped - any ideas anyone? any help much appreciated

Have you tried to map manually to the Shared drives ?
Plus, is there any Firewall software running. You might want to make sure that the settings are correct..

No settings have changed (including any firewall settings) or programs installed, the script has been working fine until just recently. It works for other remote users.
Next time the user is in the office I'll try a manual setting.
