Problem with remote Client32 connection...

I am using a Dell Inspiron w/ Groupwise 5.1 installed to access email remotely from Netware server. Though the same install works fine from a remote desktop, all of our notebook users are having trouble making and maintaining a reliable connection. The program just hangs at the Groupwise logo while trying to connect; eventually Windows task manager says app. not responding. The same install procedure was used to configure desktops and notebooks.
 
We have pretty much the same setup. But we are running 5.5.
I left our Inspiron's at software release 5.5.1 (although the Netware server is running 5.5.4 w/ SP8a)
You might want to try a higher level client (I believe you can get it from the Novell website, but you might have to download the whole package)
