Problem with recurring instances after republishing

Using XIR2 (Oracle db), revised reports are republished via the Enterprise Save As procedure to retain the history. But recurring instances that were in place prior to the revision continue to run with the PREVIOUS report criteria. The Reschedule option doesn't pick up the new version either. The only way to clear the problem seems to be to delete the recurring instance and enter a new one.


Is this normal with the Save As overwrite or are we missing something in the process or is this an issue with Enterprise?

It is the expected functionality.

The FILTER (ie. Record Selection) criteria are embedded in the RECURRING instance.

If you have changed the "Record Selection" - you need to SCHEDULE a new RECURRING instance, and DELETE the old one.
