In an effort to consolidate our web based reporting system and and improve performance, we installed all three services,RAS (CR9 5 user), IIS (v5) and SQL2000 SP3 818, on the same server (2x P III 1.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 40GB HDD, Server 2000 OS). The datasource for the reports is the SQL2000 service. This did indeed improve the performance but half the reports would report a syntax error in one of the formulae. The same reports would work flawlessly in :-
1. in the development environment (CR 9)
2. in a configuration with 2 servers. First one has IIS and RAS and the second has SQL2000 as the datasource for the reports.
I have searched the Business Objects web site to no avail.
Anyone encountered this problem before?

Ps. I know this may seem heretical, but has anyone have any thoughts/experience on the new MS Reporting Services? Its pricing looks a good deal more attractive than Business Objects CE9.
