Problem with RAM memory in Sco Open Server 5.0.2

Hi

I have two big problems:

1- The server has installed 1.00GB of RAM memory but when I made the configuration of something the system told me that I had only 512 MB of RAM memory, Whaht I need to do for solve this problem???

2- When I try to do cp -p file from one flilesystem to another and I see the following error: "cp: Sig 31 -- core dumped"????

I'm not sure about the RAM issue.

Signal 31 is 'exceeded file size limit'. What size is the file you are trying to copy? Are both of the filesystems, source and destination, identical? Is ulimit set to a low value... i.e. lower than 4194303? Annihilannic.

Hi

I am trying to copy a file with 1.3 gB. I see the kernel "ulimit" parameter and it it's setting to 4194302 and it is the maximum value.

The source filesystem has 18 MG and the target has 24 MG.

The problem still continue.
