I have performed a quick installation of UMS with R6 software on 3 different brand new servers and each time it will give me a different error message. A license can't be found yada yada... If I have a problem typically I can uninstall vmpro with webservices, then reinstall IIS and finally reinstall and it will always work for me with R5 installs. If I downgrade the systme to R5 then the UMS web services and IMAP work fine. Is there an issue or trick to UMS on R6? Thanks!

Well, I recently went to migrate from one box to another and had a hell of time to get UMS Web to work.

Essentially I had to uninstall all of Voicemail Pro (backup first of course!), remove PHP, reboot and then re-install. I didn't reinstall IIS but it did reinstall PHP.

Even after I reinstalled, some of the auto created application/virtual directories in IIS didn't come back automatically. (3 of them: personalgreetings, namegreetings, and accounts).

I had to install on my desktop to get the names of the directories and re-make them by hand.

Code:
voicemailaccounts	| C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\

Read, Write, log, index, scripts and execs, medium. default document > Default.asp

personalgreetings	| C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Greetings\
namesgreetings | C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Names\

Read, Log, Index, scripts only, medium, default document > Default.asp

BTW, why can't Avaya decide on one web-based technology? We have IIS/ASP.net (with Silverlight for the Wallboard) for CCR, PHP for UMS Web Voicemail and Tomcat (made with Google Web Tools) for One-X. Next app is going to be Ruby on Rails at this rate.
