The 'normal' view in my Outlook is extremely narrow, and whenever I go to reply to a message the reply opens in 'normal.' Can I modify the 'normal' view settings to increase the width (better option), or, failing that, at least change the default view for replies from 'normal' to 'web layout' (which appears at a readable width). Thanks

By "NARROW" do you mean the text is narrow or the window is narrow? If it is the font, you can go to Tools > Options, click the Mail Format tab, Fonts button, and change the reply font. If it is the window, you should be able to maximize the window before closing, and it should open the same size the next time.

Thanks for the reply. The font is fine and the window is full-screen. It's the text column itself that is too narrow -- it wraps at 20 characters (and I can't seem to find anywhere to change that). HTML wraps at 76, which is fine.
