Hi,

I have a user who has pressed something and now has pink tags in her email signature (the company address), they surround parts of the address such as place, city, postcode. What are they and how do I get rid of them permanently? I have tried deleting them but they re-appear on every reply she makes (using Outlook 2003). They do not appear in her signature file, only when she starts a new reply email, so I'm led to think that it's something to do with Word. I thought it might be Smart Tags but turning them off didn't do anything.

Please help! :)

It's OK, I discovered what it was - bloomin' annoying XML tags! What on earth they are doing in a text document I have no idea, Word should stick to word processing and leave XML to the web design programs! Grr.

CTRL-SHIFT-X displays or hides the XML tags.
