Problem with photoshop picture imported to indesign

Hi,I have used Photoshop to create a picture and then placed it into Indesign to create a book cover. The background in the picture is the same CMYK value as the Indesign cover. Only problem is that the colours are slightly different and an annoying box appears around the picture when I print the job. The image has not been resized in indesign.

...i assume the box you refer to is the difference on color between the image and the background, as opposed to an actual physical line?
