I've tried to create new package with "Create package from definition wizard", but I've received following error message: "The file you have selected is an invalid package definition file. Please select a valid."
Anybody help me how should I solve this trouble?

Thanks

Radek

If you are trying to create a new package, you would be pointing to the install or setup file. the Definition wizard would be okay if you download a Definition file or you already created a package and thus save a definition program. sounds like you are using the wrong wizard. Are you using SMS Installer?

I get the same thing with Java 1.4.1.2
I have tried creating a .sms with wise admin studio as well.

I can install it manually with the transofrms from the command line, no problems.

create package from definition is what I used.

doesnt matter if I use the sms file, or the MSI, still get invalid package definition file.
