My problem is that if i copy something in Autocad and paste it into another open Autocad drawing, its pasting some other things too, which i pasted some time before into this drawing. it seems that autocad has an own clipboard for each drawing.

where's the mistake?

what version of CAD is it please??? Jay~

well I was going to suggest opening 2 drawings at once
but if I can remember lt98 cant do that!?!?
The best thing to try is to go into your C:\temp folder
and delete all files with a .tmp extension, also files
called *.ac$ these are the files that hold the info on
your drawings like the clip board etc....also try deleting
the .tmp files in C:\winnt\temp.

Hope this helps...

Jay~
