In outlook I am trying to connect to a mailbox which I have always been able to connect to in the past with no luck. If I go to File->Open->Administrator (Because I've opened it before, it's listed)the windows now says "Unable to display this folder" If I click File->Open->Other Users folders and then type in Administrator from Global Address list I get the error, "Unable to display the folder. The inbox folder could not be found" Like I said, this has worked in the past and no changes were made to the permissions on the Exchange server. Is there some way to check and see if that folder is corrupt?

If you have a shortcut on the desktop (for Outlook) Right click on it and make sure the service is set up, this may be the issue. You can also check the LMHOST file to make sure the IP address is correctly specified for the exchange server name. It sounds like Outlook cannot connect to the server

control panel mail (and fax).

check that exchange support is there. check that exchange server is correctly named and username is correct. delete a character from name and check name. should come up ok.

ensure nt is logged on as a user who is allowed to go in to that email account. don't use outlook bar, use folder view.
