I had Windows NT workstation previously but recently installed windows XP.
I also installed office 2000.
I have a outlook.pst file which I want to read through outlook (which was fine in NT).
But now in XP, outlook points to outlook.exe (which I have never seen before).
Is there anyway we can change the outlook.pst to outlook.exe.
I would be thankful if anyone can help me on this.

Thanks,
Teky.

Outlook.exe is the name of the Outlook program (ie you double click it to launch Outlook). If you change this, Outlook will not start.

In order to link in your PST file, from Outlook, go to Tools-->Services and you should see personal folders as an installed service. Open this personal folders service and you should be able to browse to the path of your PST file. Once you select the PST file, it will link it into Outlook

Hope this helps ------------
