Your port 25 might be blocked on the pc or network via anti virus or firewall....

Also check the CLAN nic on the Call Pilot server and make sure that there are correct entries for the DNS server and DNS suffix in the TCPIP properties.

That was the last piece for me - everything else was up and running but couldn't fax out. Adding DNS entries to the NIC was the trick. You may have to get the DNS info from your network guys.

thanks for info,

I just checked the DNS entry, it just the correct DNS, and the customer also diabled temporary its firewall. problem still exist. Some other idea??

Have you verified that the RPL for Fax Printing in your mailbox class can dial out to the number you are trying to fax to?

You will also need to verify the Class of Service, NCOS, and TGAR of the CallPilot agent TNs to make sure they can access outbound trunks, and can make the types of calls you are trying to place.

Hi allenmac,

I deleted all restriction for outcalling, NCOS and TGAR is not the problem. Agents has at CLS UNR and TGAR 0

thanks for help

hosse...look at the ncos like allenmac said make your
phone with same ncos and tgar and see if you are able to
dial out thats would be the best test.

no problems only solutions

Your issue appears to be on the CallPilot, from desktop messaging there is a smtp connection made to the CP Server, once the fax is sent form the desktop to the server it is then sent out the port. It doen't appear you are getting a connection over the SMTP to the CallPilot.

16:45:11:990 - mm_log <Trying IP address [10.239.92.20]> <0>
16:45:12:006 - mm_log <Winsock cleanup> <0>
16:45:12:006 - mm_log <Can't connect to [10.239.92.20],25: Unknown error (10053)> <2>

Verifiy the network configuration on the CallPilot and the desktop user. Make sure you have a least 10% disk space availbale on ALL of the drives on the CallPilot.

Good Luck
Jeff
