Problem with opening datawindow controls

I'm using Powerbuilder 10 and trying ot open datawindow controls - not check them out, just open them to view the code. I keep getting memory errors. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix the problem? We have tried uninstalling & re-installing and in the process of doing a full build are now encountering multiple errors for multiple .pbls and are unable to complete the build. Any help would be appreciated.
