We're having a problem with Btrieve and would be grateful for any advice you might have on the matter.
We have a 3rd party windows based application that accesses our 'legacy' btrieve files.
The application works OK for the most part but we are experiencing a problem where if a user is outside our domain but maps their drives to our servers 'shares' which they require to access our data and then run the application, what happens is that an error 94 is returned by the application.
In Pervasive monitor you can see that the user establishes themselves in the active users list but they are unable to get access to the file.
They do have permissions to the drive share in that they can create new files and delete them afterwards.
I think the problem could be to do with the permissions of the Btrieve service, but in all honsesty I've no idea really.
I'd appreciate any advice on this
Thanks,
Tom
