problem with open a file with spaces

Well i use fileopen to open some files. when the file name is with out spaces everything works fine but when the file name has spaces i doesn't open it. Any one has any idea why and how can i fix it?

I have seen that the shortcuts uses:
"The file to open.exe" (note the quotationmarks: should be included!). Try that.

The same with parameters:
"The file to open.exe" parameter1 parameter2
