problem with ole object

Hello,
I have searched on the forum, but haven't found anything - hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I am creating a c# windows application that will display a crystal report. I create the report in crystal reports. It has an ole object field that is set to display dynamic pictures supplied by a url from a database field. It works fine on it's own, but when I run it using my application, the images don't show up.
Does anyone know if this can be done?
