Problem with old computer profile and upgrading to CR XI Rel 2

I had a local version of Crystal Reports Server XI(v 11.5) and Crystal Reports XI Rel 2 running standalone on my PC to evaluate it.
However we moved onto a new office domain recently and my computer name has changed- lets call this 'NEWNAME' - and it has caused me loads of problems with my Crystal Reports XI Rel 2.

I uninstalled all the Crystal Reports products on my PC and reinstalled different ones.
Now I have Business Objects Enterprise XI on my PC and Crystal Reports XI Rel 2 - when I try to connect to a universe when making a new connection in a new report, it keeps asking me to log onto the CMC under the OLD computer name(System name) 'OLDNAME' I had.
If I change the system name by typing in what it is now (NEWNAME), it says 'Access Denied- you cannot logon an older version on the CMS'

In my CCM, I can see all my servers are running with my new computername (NEWNAME) - but I can also see the old computer name (OLDNAME) that my computer was- when I try to connect to it, its asks me for a name and password to log onto - which I don't know!

CR XI Rel 2 is somehow remembering the old CMS name OLDNAME- and I don't know how to fix this -and also the fact that I did at one point have Crystal Reports Server 11.5 on my PC and now I've only got BO Enterprise 11 on it.

Can anyone suggest how to fix this please?

I have uninstalled CR XI Rel 2 and put on just CR XI Rel 1 and this solves the problem for the moment but I need to find a solution to the naming issues!!!

Also, delete the old CMS ( and other services that run under your old computer name) from the CCM...

Do you know if you have to pay for BOE XI R2?

I can't delete the old CMS as I cannot log onto the old computer name - any suggestions?
When I click on the old computer name, it asks me for a usernamer and password- I've tried every combination I can think of!

Is there any other way?

Hi,
R2 is a 'patch' sorta' so it should be available for you assuming you have a current support agreement..

You should not need to log in using the CMC to delete a service..just right click on it and stop it and then click on the X in the menu bar

I'm still waiting to get my support request approved by Business Objects so that might be why I can't get Rel 2 yet!

With the CMC- there is only the one listed under the NEWNAME - to see the old CMC , you have to click on OLDNAME in the top right corner where it says Computer Name - that is when it asks me for a username/password!

Hopefully when I get Rel 2, it might solve my problem- if not I'll have to stick with the current solution which won't kill me!
