Anyone else had trouble with this?

We recently had a version conflict between an ADO component and DCOM98. We fixed it by downloading DCOM98 1.3 to put in with our distribution.

Then we noticed in the new End User License Agreement (eula98.txt file that came with the download) that distribution of DCOM98 is now not permitted. As I read the situation:

1. MS distributes DCOM98 free to licensed Win98 users.
2. There is a version dependency between some ADO components and DCOM98. As we incorporate newer ADO components we need to also incorporate newer DCOM98.
3. Without being able to distribute DCOM98 as before, our customers must sometimes download and install new versions of DCOM98, an activity beyond the abilities of most of our customers without our assistance. In other words, the goal of trouble-free self installations could be defeated.

Not being anxious to take on the MS legal depart I'd appreciate any thoughts.
