Hi, again. I have a NEC AccuSync 900 19" monitor, and when I'm just using my pc for normal stuff (browsing web, etc), it's fine, but when I load a game (tried BF2 Demo and Star Wars: Galaxies), it emits an extremely annoying whistling sound. It's not immediate, usually takes about 5 minutes, this being after not using it for games for awhile prior to using it for a game. I'm not sure what the problem is, possibly overheating?

Make sure that you're not exceeding the monitor's maximum specified resolution, or exceeding the monitor's maximum refresh rate for a specified resolution when playing games.

I get the same Xeno and I do not exceed monitor specs at all, Usually happens when i first turn on my monitor (only 5months old and done it since new) and when i load up video or games.

The monitor may have a defective component.
See if the same problem happens when it's connected to a different system. If not, then RMA the monitor for a replacement under warranty.

If the problem goes away when it's connected to a different system, then a ground loop may be causing the noise.
Install a '3 prong to 2 prong no-ground' adapter to the monitor's power connector, and see if the noise disappears. If so, then a ground loop is the cause.
[Please note that this setup is dangerous, and can cause an electrical shock if the monitor's current shorts to its case. An alternative setup is to connect the monitor to a different power outlet in the same room. If no good, then get an extension cord and try an outlet in another room.]

Sounds like the 15,750 khertz of the high voltage transformer. If under warranty, return for replacement.
