I think therefore i am.....

You may be too late - apart from expensive professional data recovery. You need to connect the drive as slave to a machine that will recognise it - and then see if you can access it from the other machine's operating system. If you can, but second partition not visible, you'll need a data recovery app to get your data - eg
Obviously if you can't get access the drive at all you won't be able to retrieve anything.

PS. Might be worth running powermax (downloadable from Maxtor's site) - which will probably tell you drive is failing (if it can access it at all) - but might be able to fix it?

hi wolluf
thanx for your replay...i have dl powermax and it saw the hdd, when i did the test it said partition loading fail....so i couldnt do nothing....so it must mean that i have lost everything?

There is no problem, only a solution.

No if powermax sees the drive Get Data Back should be able to recover it. You have to get the right version of GDB one is for fat and the oteher is for ntsf. Good luck.
