I have a single web server (Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bit) which has 2 sites configured. These two sites are for different domains (Domain1.com and Domain2.com). I have 2 SSL certificates, 1 for each domain.

I installed the certificate for Domain1.com and it is working fine. So now I am trying to set up the 2nd site with the certificate. The Host Header field was grayed out so I used AppCmd in order to configure it.

When I tested the webisite, I get the message "There is a probleme with this websites certicate".

When I looked at the bindings, they looked correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

What your trying to do is not a supported configuration. IIS 7 will only support SSL Host Headers if you are using a single wildcard certificate. (i.e. *.domain.com)

Since you have 2 different domains, your only option is to apply a second IP address to the network interface of the server and then bind each site to a different IP.
