problem with ms word-template (.dot) and tomcat

Hi folks!

I am trying to display a word-template (.dot) in the browser. This works for the first attempt. When I click the link to the document for a second time the browser asks me to enter user name and password for the networkpath... WHY?

I have tried serveral combinations of permissions for the template-file (it is in a SUN-environment) but without success.

Anyone knows what's going wrong here?
