Problem with moving a line 2

Hello all. I added a new line to a system on yesterday, assigned it to a phone. The customer wanted it on a specific button location. I attempted to move it using the F*81, but when I pressed the new button location, I kept getting "invalid location", and these buttons were blank. The phone is a 7316 and the system is a Norstar Plus, DR5. Anyone experience this before? Thanks in advance.

You cant move a line to any of the top three buttons(either side), or speed dials, whether or not they are blank.

I figured as much on the speed dials. Is this specific to the 7316's?

Didn't they make those available with the new 7316E and 6.1 software?

Yes- with 6.1 the lines go to the top. With older software even the E's are seen as M7310. The 7316 buttons are mapped to certain 7310 buttons - and lines can only go to 7310 line buttons.
