Problem with message waiting lights and selector code transfer

I have a customer with a 2-cabinet Magix R4. I added two new cards in anticipation of a PRI T1 going in; the first was a MLX 016 to replace 2 MLX408's, which went in slot 5, and the second was a DS1 board in slot 9 (which is not yet being used.) I performed an extension directory print before adding the boards, and after the addition did a board renumber. After the board renumber I renumbered extensions and put features back on the phones that changed logical ID's until I had everything back at the correct extension and with the same features.

Two other things - their voice mail is an old Intuity and they have a second location with a point-to-point tie line connecting the two.

Since I made this change, they have been having problems with message waiting lights not going off and the selector code 9 not working on the night automated attendant. The lights that are sticking on are at the remote location, and the selector code 9 transfers to extension 360, which is at the secondary location. If you call extension 360 from the main location it will ring at the correct phone down the street; it is just the selector code that doesn't work.

I verified that the 8 voice mail ports are in the same spot they were before the change (0701 through 0708) and that they all pick up when dialed directly. I had my customer do the MW refresh through the maintenance screen, and as stated above I made sure that the extension selector code 9 points to answers when you call it directly. Ialso had him reboot the Intuity in case it was just random coincidence.

I am looking for suggestions as to what could have caused this to happen. I can't post any printouts because I am on vacation and have no access to WIN SPM (the only time I have left town without it and the first time I have needed it- grrhh.) Any help appreciated - thanks!

If you removed (2) 408MLX and added (1) 016MLX, then you also need to reprogram the lines. Make sure the lines connecting the two locations are still set-up properly. They might be off due to the switching of cards
