I have recently upgraded to Powerpoint 2003.
I use media objects in the presentations (.mpg and .wav) in previous versions of PP I inserted them as an object (rather than embed, to save on file size). Settings were:
object: play
"hide while not playing"
"hide after animation".
What that did, for example, was when I clicked the mouse it would play the media file with a little progress bar at the bottom, so I could see how far through the clip I was, and when it had finished it would disappear.
Now, on 2003 I follow exactly the same process but the following happens:
INsert it as above and check the same settings. When I click the mouse button it flashes up briefly before continuing to play, but it is not visible on the screen.
Any help with this greatly appreciated
