I have a 2003 server with AD and GP on an OU, I have setup the accounts in this OU to use a mandatory profiles.
I have established the profile by copying the created profile from the xp machine to a directory on the server, the path in the profile tab on the user account is set to point to it with the correct permission for the user.
When I load the profile onto a client machine that does not already have the profile on it, it pulls the correct profile from the server, however, if the user makes changes to the profile and logs off the client machine and then logs back on to the same client the profile has saved the changes. It is only when the profile is deleted from the client that it renews the profile from the server.

Can any one help with this problem?
Thx

Have you set the delete roaming profiles at logoff policy?

Also i think the profile folder needs to be called .MAN as well as the NTuser file i'm not certain though.

Hi porkchopexpress (is that from the movie?)
No I havent set that policy, the only policy I can find like that is "delete cached copies of roamin profiles" which is in computer config/administrative templates/system/user profiles/ of the GP.
Is this the one you mean? or is there another? if so can you please let me know?

Thx

Yes that's the one but i'm sure that mandatory profiles should remove themselves at logoff if configured correctly.
