Problem with mailboxes on network

I'm setting up Eudora for about 20 staff on 10 computers in my agency. The staff move around from computer to computer so I figured the mailboxes best be stored on the network. I successfully set up an account for myself, storing files on a network drive (connected by logon script). It worked for a while until I set up a second user. Now, every time I try to start up Eudora it tells me another instance of it is running. I get options to continue, abort local, or abort remote instance. All of the options result in Eudora closing itself. This happens every time even though I know no one else on the network is on Eudora. Any ideas?

Quite a ways back I would have a similar problem whenever Eudora (loaded from a central location) would crash on one computer and I would try to restart it on another. In an illegal crash there was a file that did not get erased so it thought it was still running. Sometimes I would have to totally shut off the crashed machine to get it to let go. I found a file called OWNER.LOK was the one needing to be deleted.

I am not sure if this will help, and the version I was running was NOT set up as a network load so that may have been part of the trouble. Mitch Duszynski
