problem with login console on a full partition server

Hello,
We have a full system partitioned p4 server which is running fine. But when I open the terminal window from HMC I could not get the login console. Its just showing a blank window. I tried to rebuild the managed server for getiing NVRAM back.But nothing has worked out.Any suggestions how to get the login console?

I had similiar problem on my p5 fullparition system.

I had re-assigned the console using:

smitty chcons


and had to reboot the system. after that the console started working again.
