I have setup a local printer
in SCO Unix and wanted to print
from a linux machine via network.
I setup everthing (printcap, hosts.lpd,
...) but when i print from linux it displays
its status as "waiting server to come up"
and tries to send the document every second.
It shows that linux is working, and if i print a doc using SCO (local printer)
it is ok too.
1. Is there any problem with ports?
2. Although I choose 'accept remote printing' option in scoadmin it didn't display its state as accept but enabled.
Is enabling is ok or it needs to be activated? If so how?
3. What else should i do?

You also need to setup the Linux machine as a trusted machine on the SCO box.

Put the Linux machine's name in /etc/hosts.equiv and of course in /etc/hosts.
