I have highspeed internet with our local ISP, it is similar to DSL but is not actually DSL, it is etherloop or ethernet loop something like that - sorry...
Anyway, we couldn't connect to the internet and were told it is because the linksys router doesn't work on their high speed network. They said that if there is more than one linksys router on the network, the routers will 'talk' to each other and congest the network connection and prevent you from getting connected. THey recommended we get a different brand router
Is this actually possible or are they just making up excuses? What are they even talking about, and is there anything I can do to avoid this so I can use the internet, but keep the router I have?
Thank you
